Kritterly operates this store and website. This Shipping Policy describes how we manage the processing and delivery of your orders.

Please read this Shipping Policy carefully. By making a purchase, you acknowledge that you have read this policy and understand the terms regarding delivery methods, costs, and timelines.

1. General Information

All orders are subject to product availability. If an item is not in stock at the time you place your order, we will notify you and refund you the total amount of your order, using the original method of payment.

2. Delivery Locations

Items offered on our website are currently available for delivery to addresses in South Africa only. Any shipments outside of South Africa are not available at this time.

3. Delivery Methods & Partners

We offer two primary methods of delivery to suit your needs:

National Courier (The Courier Guy): For nationwide delivery across South Africa, we partner with The Courier Guy. This ensures reliable, trackable delivery to your door or to a designated locker/depot depending on the service selected at checkout.

Private Drop-Off (Local Delivery): For customers located in our immediate vicinity (specifically Roodepoort and select surrounding areas), we offer a private drop-off service managed directly by the Kritterly team. This is often faster and more personalised than standard courier options.

  • Eligibility: This option will appear at checkout only if your delivery address falls within our local drop-off radius.

  • Scheduling: If you select this option, we may contact you to arrange a suitable time window for the drop-off.

4. Processing Time

We aim to process all orders within 1-2 business days.

  • Weekends & Holidays: Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or public holidays.

  • High Volume: If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.

5. Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout based on the weight of your items and your location.

Estimated Timelines:

  • Local Courier (Gauteng): 1 – 2 Business days via The Courier Guy.

  • National Courier (Main Centers): 2 – 3 Business days via The Courier Guy.

  • Regional / Remote Areas: 3 – 5 Business days via The Courier Guy.

  • Private Drop-Off: Typically delivered within 24–48 hours, depending on scheduling.

Please note: Delivery delays can occasionally occur due to unforeseen courier issues.

6. Shipping Confirmation & Order Tracking

Courier Orders: You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s) for The Courier Guy. The tracking number will generally be active within 24 hours.

Private Drop-Offs: You will receive a notification when your order is out for delivery. Since this is a private service, you may not receive a standard tracking number, but we will keep you updated via email or SMS regarding the arrival of your package.

7. Damages

Kritterly is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim. However, we want to help. Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods and contact us at woof@littlekritters.co.za so we can assist you in resolving the issue with the courier.

8. Wrong Address / Undeliverable Packages

It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that the shipping address provided is correct.

  • If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, the customer will be responsible for the cost of re-shipping the item.

  • For Private Drop-Offs, if no one is available to receive the package at the agreed-upon time, a re-delivery fee may apply.
